The Pakistan Meteorological Department, with Punjab PDMA, warned of a monsoon spell bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms across Islamabad, Punjab, KP, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan from 12–17 September, with urban-flooding risk in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Faisalabad and Lahore and landslides in hilly areas.
